Do gold rings with different karats look different in color or are they just different in hardness?
I'm talking about yellow gold. I mean if I were to wear a ring that was 22k on one finger and 18k or 14k on the other finger, would it look noticeably different?
Yes, different karats have different colors. The purer the gold is (22K, for example), the more reddish-orange it looks. Lower karats are a lighter yellow.
You probably wont see much of a difference between 10K or 14K, but you will if you pair one of those with a 22K.

Actually, you are wrong. Karats in gold relates to how PURE the gold is. 24K gold is pure gold. Anything less refers to the fact that it's mixed with an alloy-- most commonly with copper. It makes a stronger gold, because pure gold is very malleable and makes for very soft jewelry.
Also, you shouldn't be so picky with people's spelling when your own is not up to par. First of all, "spelled" is spelled like this, not "spelt" (which is a type of grain). And Karats spelled with a "K" refers to the purity of gold, while Carats spelled with a "C" refers to the weight of a gemstone. Also, you should have written "WHERE the gold has come from", rather than "wear the gold has come from".
If you don't know the answer to a question, then don't answer it.
