where can I buy a men's gold mounting ring, for a diamond I alread have. REASONABLE?
I am looking for a company online that will sell me a gold men's ring that has the setting in place, but without the stone, to be able have my diamond set into the ring. I have not had much luck looking online. I want to be able to purchase this ring setting at a very reasonable price, close to wholesale. Thanks for any info anyone can give me. Lynn

Why did he give me a fake engagement ring?
The day I asked him for one month of not seeing eachother to clear our heads, he shows up with an engagement ring. I asked him not to buy me one for I could get it at cost and I didn't even want a diamond ring. Since I've been in the jewelry business for 22 years and I just had to look at it with a lens...it's what I do! It was a fake, scratches in the gold, fithy like it had been worn for a long time, also lazar cut so it wasn't his mothers ring and this man claims to be a millionair plus. He said " you're not a wholesale woman", and lead me to believe he had bought the ring from a jewelry store in another town. So if he has money and wants to marry me...why did he do this? Why the deception? I would have been happy with a simple twenty dollar ring and why can't he respect my wishes? And on top of all of this he's a psychologist.
Since you had already discussed the ring before and he knew what you wanted and could easily have afforded it, then he should not have bought the one he did. I am not one of those women who has anything against real diamonds, in fact I prefer cz cuz I think they shine more and it doesnt sound like you are materialistic either. Obviously this man is afraid of losing you since after asking for some time to clear your head he decides instead to propose. The ring doesnt matter and normally I would have replied that he bought what he could afford, but it is his deception that is concerning. I definitely think you should take the time to think and decide if this is the kind of man you want as he doesnt seem to care what you want and doesnt appear to be honest. I do think you should talk to him and ask him why he did this.
