How do i know if my COACH purse is real?
I got a COACH purse at a local fair for $20. It looks real but I'm not sure if it is real. All of the Cs look right and they match up. Also on the inside it has a tag saying " This is a COACH bag. It was handcrafted in Turkey from the finest materials trimmed with genuine leather. Its supperior craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect our commitment to enduring quatlity No A 4688" It does look real but I'm not sure since it was so cheap. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Sorry it does not sound like it is authentic.Not because it says "made in Turkey" because even though Coach is currently made in China,they HAVE been made in several countries-including Turkey- in the past.
The telltale sign that it is fake without even seeing a picture is that the format of the bag number is not right.The old ones had all numbers separated by a dash and the recent ones have a letter-number-letter format then the style number after a dash.
If you got it from a dealer at a flea market setting,they do NOT sell authentic,ever.Many will tell you that they are real,just slightly defective,old styles,etc but it is not true.
