what is better for a men's wedding band? white gold or titanium? pros/cons?
i know titanium can not be resized and thats a con.
i know i will be getting my guy white gold to match mine, but i still want to know some info
I don't like white gold because it needs rhodium plating every couple years to retain it's silvery luster. After bothering with $30-$50 plating for each of my rings every 1-2 years I said ENOUGH! From now on it's platinum for me. I've heard titanium is good too.
EDIT: Platinum is NOT softer and easier to damage than gold, it's the other way around. However, it is more difficult to buff out scratches in platinum.
